A bright, berry-floral syrup with a cozy cinnamon twist. Perfect for winter teas, lattes, and festive mocktails.

If you love fruity teas but want something that still feels cozy for winter, this Strawberry Hibiscus Cinnamon Syrup is the perfect bridge between summer brightness and holiday warmth. It’s vibrant, jewel-toned, and lightly spiced... basically the kind of syrup that makes every cup feel a little magical.

It pairs beautifully with white teas, green teas, herbal blends, some oolongs, or even a simple sparkling water with a squeeze of lemon. Think: holiday punch meets cozy tea party.

Instructions
  1. In a small pot, combine strawberries, hibiscus, sugar, water, cinnamon stick, and salt.

  2. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer for 10–12 minutes.

  3. Use the back of a spoon to lightly mash the strawberries as they soften.

  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract (if using).

  5. Let the mixture steep for 10 minutes for maximum color and flavor.

  6. Strain through a fine mesh sieve, pressing gently to extract all the syrup.

  7. Cool completely, then store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

How to Use It
  • Add 1–2 tbsp to hibiscus or berry teas

  • Drizzle into sparkling water for a festive spritz

  • Stir into lemon or limeade to make a “winter berryade”

  • Add to iced or hot green tea

  • Mix with lemonade + soda water for a mocktail

  • Add to a white chocolate mocha for a fruity-cozy fusion moment

Flavor Notes

This syrup is:

  • Bright + Berry-Forward from the strawberries

  • Floral + Tangy from hibiscus

  • Warm + Cozy from the cinnamon

  • Silky + Sweet with a gorgeous ruby-pink color

It’s the perfect way to make a fruity tea feel like winter, without losing any of that summery sparkle.

Tips & Variations
  • Add a small strip of orange peel for extra holiday warmth.

  • Swap cinnamon stick for 2–3 whole cloves for a deeper spice profile.

  • Add a few crushed freeze-dried strawberries at the end for a boosted fruity punch.

  • Make it thicker by simmering 5 extra minutes.

Perfect Pairings

This syrup pairs beautifully with:

  • Hibiscus berry blends

  • Strawberry teas

  • Peach teas (trust me... unreal combo)

  • White peony tea

  • Jasmine green tea

  • Sparkling mocktails
