Instructions
-
Let the Bread Machine Do the Work
In the bread machine’s baking pan, layer ingredients in this order: warm milk, egg, ½ cup melted butter, sugar, salt, 3.5 cups flour, and finally the yeast. Set the machine to the Dough setting & press start. Watch as the dough comes together - this is where you may need to add up to another cup of flour. Start with adding a tablespoon at a time until the dough ball forms. Gently press the dough with your finger, if it doesn't stick to your finger, close the lid and let the dough cycle continue. -
Shape Your Crescent Rolls
Once the dough cycle completes, remove it from the machine, punch it, duh, and divide into 2 or 3 portions. Roll out each portion out into anout a 1/4" thick circle, brush with melted butter, and cut into 8 equal “pizza slice” wedges. Roll each wedge from the wide end toward the point to form crescents. Place on a lined baking sheet. -
Second Rise & Bake
Let the rolls rise for another hour until puffy. Bake at 350 °F for 8–10 minutes, until golden brown. Note: baking times may vary, so observe and adjust as needed!
