By Kaelah Stephan

This Spiced Peach–Pear Syrup is gentle, elegant, and wintery in the most magical way. It takes the natural sweetness of summer peaches and soft, buttery pear, then adds a warm holiday twist with cinnamon, clove, and vanilla.

The result is a syrup that tastes like a winter orchard at golden hour. Cozy, fragrant, and not too heavy. It’s festive without being overly spiced, making it perfect for teas, lattes, sparkling drinks, cocktails, and your Teacember creations.

This is the syrup you choose when you want something holiday-coded but subtle, something that makes people say: “What IS that flavor?”

Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, combine water, sugar, peach, pear, cinnamon stick, cloves, lemon peel, and salt.
  2. Warm over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 10–12 minutes, allowing the fruit to soften and the spices to infuse.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in the vanilla, and let steep for 5 minutes.
  5. Strain through a fine sieve, pressing gently to extract all that juicy winter fruit flavor.
  6. Cool completely and transfer to a jar or syrup bottle.

The syrup will be a gorgeous soft golden color — cozy and subtle.
